Named after Polish mathematician Waclaw Sierpinski, this is a fractal created by iteratively replacing an equilateral triangle with 3 smaller ones. It has the property of self similarity, that is, any part of the fractal looks similar to the whole.

This earrings is laser cut from one piece of 3mm acrylic and measures about 1.5cm x 1.5cm, and 4.2cm tall (from the top of the earring to the base of the earring). The earrings come on silver plated hook earrings. Due to the handmade nature of this piece, very slight variations may occur from the item pictured. All artwork is originally designed and crafted in CrankyBot's home studio in Canberra, Australia.
